Job Summary

The Site Storekeeper is responsible for managing all materials, tools, and equipment at the assigned project site. The role ensures proper receipt, storage, issuance, recording, and reporting of materials in compliance with company inventory and property management procedures. The position plays a critical role in preventing stock loss, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely material availability for site operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify all delivered materials, tools, machinery, and equipment against approved orders and delivery documents
• Ensure machinery and equipment are received with complete accessories and proper documentation, including invoices
• Prepare and process accurate Goods Receiving Notes (GRNs)
• Report discrepancies, shortages, damages, or non-conformities immediately
• Issue materials strictly against approved and signed vouchers
• Maintain accurate bin cards, stock records, and material movement documentation
• Prevent unauthorized withdrawal or misuse of materials
• Organize and maintain safe, clean, and standard-compliant storage areas
• Monitor stock levels, including fast-moving, slow-moving, obsolete, and expiry items
• Update daily, weekly, and monthly stock balances
• Identify and report reorder requirements on time
• Conduct daily spot checks and monthly stock counts
• Participate in periodic and annual inventory audits
• Prepare and submit daily and periodic stock reports to Head Office
• Investigate and report stock variances immediately
• Ensure compliance with company inventory control procedures
