Job Title: Site Engineer – Building ProjectsLocation -Juba South Sudan Job SummaryThe Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and managing day-to-day construction activities on building projects, ensuring work is executed according to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. This role bridges the gap between technical design and on-site execution, coordinating with contractors, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality structures within budget and schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesSite SupervisionOversee construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project schedules.Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.Technical SupportInterpret engineering drawings and provide guidance to site teams.Ensure proper use of materials, equipment, and construction methods.Support quality assurance and quality control processes.Coordination & CommunicationLiaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.Report daily progress, challenges, and resource needs to project managers.Facilitate smooth communication between office and site teams.Health & SafetyEnforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with occupational health standards.Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.Conduct toolbox talks and promote a culture of safety on site.Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate records of site activities, materials, and manpower.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.Assist in managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
