Job Summary

The Shift Production Supervisor operates under the supervision of the Production Manager and is responsible for coordinating and controlling all production activities during their shift. This role ensures that raw materials, packaging materials, and other production inputs are available in adequate quantities and on time, while maintaining efficient operations and evaluating the performance of various production units. The Shift Production Supervisor also plays a key role in implementing and maintaining management systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, direct, coordinate, and control all shift activities of the production function
• Ensure adequate raw materials, packaging materials, and other production inputs are available on time
• Prepare daily production reports
• Establish, implement, document, maintain, and continually improve the food safety management system (ISO 22000) in operations
• Ensure the production and supply of safe products across the supply chain
• Implement, document, maintain, and continually improve the Environmental Management System
• Apply 5R rules (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rethink, etc.) to avoid or minimize discharges to water, emissions to air, and disposal to land
• Ensure compliance with relevant local, national, and international laws related to environmental standards and client environmental requirements
• Evaluate production process performance and implement corrective measures as necessary
• Ensure optimal capacity utilization of production machinery
• Develop and implement material balance requirements for company products
• Verify that all products meet company requirements and standards
• Monitor and verify 5S, GHP, GMP, and FSMS compliance throughout the plant
• Develop and implement schemes to improve efficiency of the production process
• Ensure production procedures and instructions are properly implemented
• Participate in workers' skill upgrading programs
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Production Manager
