Purpose of the Role

The Senior Tax & Treasury Officer is responsible for overseeing the company's tax compliance, treasury operations, and cash management to ensure financial stability, regulatory compliance, and efficient use of resources. This role manages tax planning, filings, payments, and audits, while monitoring cash flow, investments, banking relationships, and financial risks. The position provides accurate and timely reporting and analysis to support management in strategic decision-making and optimize the company's financial position.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file corporate tax returns (income tax, VAT, withholding tax, etc.) in compliance with local regulations
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory support to optimize the company's tax position
• Liaise with tax authorities and manage audits, maintaining organized tax records and documentation
• Monitor and manage daily cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations
• Maintain banking relationships, manage company investments, and oversee debt obligations
• Prepare short- and long-term cash flow forecasts and support working capital optimization
• Generate accurate reports on tax, treasury, and financial activities to support management decision-making
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
