The Senior Quantity Surveyor acts as a trusted advisor to clients, project managers, and stakeholders, bringing decades of insight to complex commercial decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesCost Management & EstimationPrepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.Conduct feasibility studies and provide accurate financial forecasts.Monitor project costs, cash flow, and value engineering opportunities.Contract AdministrationDraft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers.Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.Manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution processes.Project OversightLead cost control and commercial management across multiple projects.Provide strategic advice on procurement methods and risk allocation.Oversee final account settlements and project close-out.Leadership & MentorshipGuide and mentor junior quantity surveyors and project staff.Share best practices and industry knowledge gained over 20 years.Foster a culture of integrity, precision, and continuous improvement.Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.Present financial reports and recommendations to senior management.Build long-term relationships based on trust and professional credibility.
