Hadeed Trading Plc is a manufacturing, import, export, and distribution company established in 2003 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The company operates a galvanizing plant, supplies home appliances to the local market, and is one of Ethiopia's top exporters of premium quality coffee.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic and annual financial statements with supporting balance sheet reconciliation schedules in compliance with IFRS
• Manage fixed assets register on SAP and reconcile with audit reports
• Monitor fixed asset purchases to ensure compliance with Group Accounting & Reporting policies and AFCE policies
• Process intangible assets and amortizations
• Support and lead annual fixed asset inventory processes
• Review and validate fixed asset-related balance sheet accounts monthly
• Execute depreciation runs on SAP on a monthly basis
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts and financial records according to company financial policy and procedures
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Reconcile bank statements monthly
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings
• Prepare and process local taxes including VAT, withholding tax, income tax, and pension contributions
• Assist with annual audit preparations and support the audit process
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
• Coordinate with external service providers including banks, auditors, and tax advisors
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards
