Position Summary

Prime Packaging PLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement & Supply Chain Officer to manage local and foreign procurement operations, ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing operations. This critical role includes responsibility for bank-related import processes and close coordination with freight forwarders and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage local procurement of materials, consumables, and services
• Handle foreign procurement of spare parts, including communication with overseas suppliers
• Manage all bank-related processes for foreign procurement, including import and payment documentation
• Coordinate daily with freight forwarders and logistics partners to track shipments, follow up on delays, and ensure timely delivery of goods to the Prime Packaging warehouse
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and delivery reliability
• Procure and manage production consumables required for continuous operations
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate closely with production, warehouse, and finance teams
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures
