Currently, Horra Corporate Group is led by the CEO, Mr. Adm Kedir, and by qualified and experienced professionals, with 550 permanent staff members and 800 temporary workers working in the corporate office and in different business units.Job SummaryThe Operations & Transit Manager is responsible for leading, planning, and overseeing all operational and transit activities of the company. The role ensures efficient logistics coordination, transportation management, regulatory compliance, cost control, and service delivery excellence. The Manager drives operational strategy, optimizes performance, and ensures smooth coordination between departments to achieve organizational objectives.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement operational and transit strategies aligned with company goalsEstablish performance targets and KPIs for operations and logistics functionsLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costsOversee transportation planning, routing, and fleet managementEnsure timely and efficient delivery of goods/servicesMonitor fuel usage, vehicle utilization, and maintenance schedulesEnsure compliance with local transportation laws and regulationsCoordinate with warehouse, procurement, finance, and HR departmentsEnsure optimal resource allocation and operational cost control Manage risk related to logistics, transport delays, and operational disruptionsImplement safety policies and operational procedures Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching Identify training and development needs
