Purpose of the Position

The NTS Team Leader will conduct surveys to assess the level, type, and impact of ERW/landmine contamination and report on findings. The role involves linking with local communities in support of clearance activities and conducting Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in close coordination with NTS Operators, EORE team, and the NTS/EORE Project Manager to plan and deliver Non-Technical Survey and Explosive Ordnance Risk Education activities in community settings
• Identify and assess the impact of explosive ordnance on women, girls, boys, and men in target areas
• Support training facilitation in NTS to other team members
• Lead data collection and reporting in the area
• Develop the team's work plan and engage local stakeholders
• Effectively plan, deliver, and monitor NTS activities in the community
• Supervise and support EORE facilitators from partner organizations when attached to the NTS team
