About the Project

The 'Climate Sensitive Innovations for Land Management II' (CLM II) project promotes the institutional implementation of Integrated Landscape Management (ILM) and the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources at the national, regional, and local levels. ILM aims for the sustainable development of rural areas in an integrated, multidisciplinary manner.

The program promotes nature conservation, adaptation to climate change impacts, gender equality, and the enhancement of community livelihoods through empowerment and collaboration with both governmental and non-governmental actors. As a continuation of CLM I, this project strengthens the capacities of actors at all levels to implement integrated landscape management, with emphasis on gender-responsive natural resource management and livelihood development in selected landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

Planning

• Participate in project planning including assistance in preparation of required workplans
• Prepare and circulate guidelines, checklists, templates, and other tools to facilitate the application of the programme adaptive management cycle in annual project planning
• Support the conducting of baseline assessments related to EU-Nature Conservation and Integrated Landscape Management

Performance Monitoring and Adaptive Management

• Use real-time dashboards and tracking tools such as Excel and PowerBI to visualize project results and monitor project indicators
• Produce quarterly and annual performance reports that highlight planned vs. actual results
• Design adaptive, flexible data collection systems in collaboration with project and program staff, ensuring data integrity and reliability
• Coordinate internal evaluations to determine the overall performance of a strategic plan
• Develop and manage the M&E system for the project in line with donor (BMZ and EU) and organizational requirements
• Conduct surveys and tracer studies as required
