Junior Medical Representative -Adama Region

About the Role

As a Junior Medical Representative, you will promote company products through professional demonstrations, distributing samples, and collecting valuable feedback from healthcare professionals. You will deliver impactful presentations to create awareness and understanding of our products while establishing a strong and positive brand presence in the market.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Promote company products to potential and existing customers and guide them toward purchases
• Expand knowledge of the complete product range
• Identify customer needs and recommend company products that best fulfill those needs
• Maintain solid working relationships with new and existing customers through effective communication
• Plan and coordinate promotional activities within your area (CME, Grand Rounds, etc.)
• Regularly assess competitor products, identify quality gaps, and develop winning strategies
• Submit purchase orders promptly to sales and tender personnel
• Adjust promotional tactics based on field tests and new insights
• Resolve customer complaints and queries in a timely manner
• Network with relevant stakeholders to identify new business opportunities
• Provide market information and updates to ASM/RSM/PM and monitor competitor activity
• Make recommendations for customers and maintain documentation of customer contact and account updates
• Prepare, update, and maintain detailed records of customers and master call lists (MCL)
• Plan work schedules and create weekly and monthly timetables with the area sales team
• Discuss future targets with the area sales manager and product manager
• Stay informed about health services activities in your designated area
• Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products
• Track all promotional activities in the company CRM system and maintain current account information
• Develop strong, ongoing relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders
• Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic promotion planning
