About People In Need

People In Need is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded on the ideals of humanity, freedom, equality and solidarity. Established in 1992 by a group of Czech war correspondents, journalists and activists, it has grown to become one of the largest non-profit organizations in Central and Eastern Europe.

Throughout its existence, People In Need continues to engage in humanitarian aid, development cooperation, education and social inclusion. The organization has been operating in Ethiopia since 2003, working across five regions: Oromia, Central Ethiopia, South Ethiopia, Sidama and Tigray in multi-sectoral development and emergency response projects.

People In Need focuses on five main areas of interest: Education, Agriculture, Climate and Environment, Water and Social Protection. The organization is part of Alliance 2015, a strategic network of seven European non-governmental organizations engaged in humanitarian aid and development projects.

Position Details

• Salary: 6,500 ETB
• Location: Hawassa, Sidama Region with frequent field travel to PIN's project sites in different regions as required

Key Responsibilities

• Client Station Support:
  • Installing and reinstalling operating systems and PIN-approved software
  • Installing software updates
  • Installing necessary and recommended security updates
  • Setting up user profiles according to PIN policies
