Job SummaryThe Inventory Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing inventory transactions, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring efficient inventory control systems. The role ensures that stock levels are maintained appropriately to support company operations while minimizing losses and discrepancies.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitor and maintain accurate inventory records.Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.Ensure proper storage and labeling of products.Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.Prepare periodic inventory reports (daily, weekly, monthly).Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and finance departments.Track slow-moving, damaged, or expired items and report accordingly.Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory procedures.Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions.Support audits by providing necessary inventory documentation.
