Job PurposeThe HR Officer supports the effective implementation of HR systems and processes within the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role ensures compliant recruitment, disciplined HR records management, employee relations support, and alignment of HR practices with Ethiopian labor laws, company policies, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements, and regulatory standards.2. Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesA. Recruitment & OnboardingAssist in manpower planning based on production and quality requirementsPrepare vacancy announcements and coordinate candidate screeningSupport interviews and selection documentationPrepare contracts and ensure complete pre-employment filesFacilitate induction with emphasis on GMP, safety, and company rulesB. Employee Relations & DisciplineRespond to day-to-day employee queries professionallySupport disciplinary procedures in line with company code of conduct and labor lawAssist in grievance handling and conflict resolutionPromote teamwork, ethical behavior, and respectful workplace cultureC. HR Administration & DocumentationMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee files (physical & digital)Manage attendance, leave, overtime, and shift recordsPrepare HR letters, memos, notices, and reportsEnsure confidentiality and secure document handlingSupport HR data needed for audits and regulatory inspectionsD.
