Project Context
School Feeding Programs and the Productive Safety Net Program (PSNP) play vital roles in building resilience and addressing malnutrition among vulnerable households and children. School Feeding initiatives provide meals to children during school hours, supporting healthy growth and cognitive development, with returns in education, gender equality, health and nutrition, social protection, and local economies and agriculture.
The PSNP supports efforts to combat food insecurity and malnutrition through building community assets and resilience, ensuring households can sustainably improve their food security and nutritional status over time.
