About the Role
As a Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for serving customers, handling cash transactions, and processing banking operations. Your primary focus will be on selling bank products and services, acquiring new customers, opening and maintaining accounts, and building strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers and address their banking needs with professionalism and care
- Receive and pay out cash accurately and securely
- Process financial transactions efficiently and in compliance with banking regulations
- Sell bank products and services to customers
- Acquire new customers and expand the customer base
- Open new customer accounts and manage account maintenance
- Manage customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Follow all bank policies and procedures consistently
Working Conditions
Position based in Ethiopia, specifically for Adama Banking Center. Full-time role with Zemen Bank S.C.
