## Title: Child Protection Project Manager

The organization works in collaboration with government bodies, UN agencies, NGOs, and community partners to create protective environments and promote positive socio-economic change in conflict-affected and underserved regions.

Position Details

  • Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Reports to: Senior Program Manager
  • Supervises: MHPSS Coordinator, Meal Coordinator, Child Protection & GBV Officers
  • Employment Type: Four-month contract with possibility of extension based on fund availability
  • Coverage Areas: Shire, Sheraro, T/Adyabo, Ahsea, Alamata, Raya Alamata, and Ofla

Role Purpose

The Child Protection Project Manager provides overall leadership and technical oversight for Child Protection programming including case management, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), and community-based child protection mechanisms. The role ensures quality implementation in line with Child Protection Minimum Standards, safeguarding and PSEA commitments, and donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The post holder leads planning, implementation, reporting, budget management, staff supervision, and coordination with clusters and government stakeholders across all program areas.
