Position Summary

A Biomedical Engineer is responsible for developing biomedical equipment and medical devices to improve the quality of life for medical patients. You will design and create advanced healthcare technology, ensure the safety and functionality of your creations before manufacturing, and assist healthcare professionals in learning to use these innovations in their daily practice. To succeed in this role, you must be able to develop advanced healthcare technology and effectively advise others on its proper use.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and create biomedical technology including machines, equipment, and software for diagnosing and treating medical problems
• Install and calibrate biomedical equipment
• Ensure the safety and functionality of biomedical devices before manufacturing begins
• Provide training and guidance to healthcare professionals on using new equipment and technology
• Maintain and troubleshoot medical devices to ensure optimal performance
