Senior Planning & Monitoring Officer

About the Position

Bethzatha Health Service PLC is seeking a qualified Senior Planning & Monitoring Officer to support strategic planning and financial oversight. Working under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer, you will play a key role in analyzing resource requirements and monitoring budget implementation across the organization.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed analysis of financial, manpower, and physical resource requirements for the Hospital's strategic plan
• Compile and analyze economic and statistical data for short-, medium-, and long-term Hospital planning
• Consolidate annual plans from work units and submit to the Head of Planning Service
• Prepare the Hospital's strategic plan and submit for approval
• Design standard formats to organize budget estimates for discussion and consolidation
• Prepare statistical databases for use by different work units

Specific Duties

• Assist different work units in preparing annual plans and budgets by providing statistical data and analysis
• Participate in the preparation of standard indicators to evaluate and monitor budget implementation
• Conduct variance analysis and propose corrective actions as needed
• Undertake programming activities by setting appropriate timeframes
• Conduct environmental scanning to analyze the Hospital's market position
• Perform other related activities as assigned
