Security Service operation division manager

Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Employment Business Operation Director, the Security Services Operations Division Manager plans, organizes, leads, and controls security guard activities for clients. This role involves conducting studies to improve service quality, supporting orientation of security guards, supervising patrolling activities at duty stations, and preparing periodic reports.

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Employment Business Operation Director

Location: Head Office, Addis Ababa

Key Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, directs, and controls security and outsourced services in consultation with the immediate supervisor
• Conducts studies to improve service quality of security services and forwards recommendations as necessary
• Supports recruitment of security guards for service stations to fulfill staff requirements of customer organizations as specified in contractual agreements
• Deploys and relocates security service supervisors to duty stations in Addis Ababa, monitors their activities, and ensures delivery of effective and efficient security services in accordance with contractual agreements
• Follows up fulfillment of logistical needs of security staff in collaboration with concerned work units
• Facilitates induction, equipment, and deployment of newly recruited security staff to service stations
• Follows up probationary period performance of subordinates under direct supervision and reports assessment outcomes accordingly
• Follows up implementation of procedures related to remuneration and promotion
