About the Role
Under the direct supervision of the HR Operations Manager, the Learning & Development Head is responsible for managing all human resource development activities and initiatives within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Training Needs Assessment & Planning
- Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) to assess training and development requirements across all departments
- Perform individual gap assessments and skill gap analysis through performance reviews and audits
- Discuss training needs with department heads and supervisors to identify appropriate staff development plans
- Identify learning opportunities for candidates exhibiting leadership and supervisory qualities
Learning Strategy & Program Development
- Develop and implement the factory's annual learning and development plan aligned with business objectives
- Create competency frameworks for key roles in production, quality, maintenance, and logistics
- Prepare training curriculum, content, and materials
- Create and implement individual and collective training plans for employees
- Manage the organization's learning systems
Performance Management & Implementation
- Facilitate the implementation of RSDPLC performance appraisal system
- Ensure managers are equipped with necessary skills to conduct probationary evaluations and annual appraisals
- Support supervisors in determining team training needs
Feedback & Evaluation
- Collect and analyze feedback from employees about the progress of training programs
- Conduct regular auditing and assessment of learning and development initiatives
Communication & Compliance
- Design and assist in implementation of comprehensive communication plans to keep employees informed about human resource development matters
- Monitor periodic PPE distribution to eligible staff
- Conduct regular risk assessments to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Oversee workplace safety and security of employees and company assets
