About the Project
The Participatory Agriculture and Climate Transformation (PACT) Programme aims to support the development of alternative sources of energy by reducing pressure on biomass resources through the substitution and distribution of improved energy-saving stoves to households in project areas. Women and children are the primary beneficiaries.
Job Summary
The PACT program will be implemented using the Community-Led Total Stove approach, distributing 91,200 improved cooking technologies to 45,600 households. Each household will receive two stoves: one Mirt and one Efoy.
Under a cluster structure, the project will be carried out over a three-year period across six regions comprising 24 woredas selected from Southern Ethiopia, Oromia, Amhara, Central Ethiopia, Southwest Ethiopia, and Sidama. Woredas were chosen based on geographical clustering, organizational coverage, and proximity to ensure efficient and effective project management.
The ICS Cluster Coordinator will focus on overall project coordination, from planning through operation monitoring and follow-up.

One-year contract with possibility of extension based on performance
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage overall planning and direction of the ICS project at field level
- Lead overall production and adoption of ICS in collaboration with zonal and woreda triggering, post-triggering, and other experts based on agreed selection criteria
- Provide technical support to respective implementation woredas during ICS producers/enterprises selection
- Strengthen capacity of producers, women development groups, and community leaders through devising different mechanisms for engagement and support
