1. Purpose of the PositionThe FG Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods while maintaining safety, quality, and inventory accuracy. The role ensures operational efficiency, cost control, and compliance withcompany policies and regulatory requirements.The FG warehouse lead is also accountable for optimizing people, processes, and technology to meet key performance indicators.The role plays a critical part in maintaining stock accuracy, supporting order fulfillment, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations to meet customer, sales and production demands.The FG warehouse lead is also responsible in ensuring the usage on ERP system (Business Central) for proper inventory management and stock controlReporting to Logistics and warehouse manager.2. Result area Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesMotivated and passionate workforce Train, coach and mentor Storekeepers, forklift operator, reach truck operators and Helpers.  Set objectives with all team members.Have one-to-one meetings throughout the year. Monitor daily activity of Storekeepers, Fork operators, Reach truck and helpers. Carry out mid and end of year performance and development reviews  Crate positive work culture and work on people development.  Supervise and handle team. Lead operation.Effective utilization of system 100% utilization of ERP business central. Ensure daily stock movement is properly recorded in the system Perform daily reconciliation of system and actual stock balance. Ensure 0 stock variance during weekly, monthly, semi-annual and year end count.Daily recording and reporting of damage and market return products accordingly.Customer satisfactiondevelop strong relationships with Distribution, sales, Agent crew and Addis warehouse team. § Set warehouse working hours jointly with sales and distribution team and implement.Continuously review WH ways of working to maximize customer satisfaction. § Ensure customer complaints are addressed timely § Manage daily operation of the warehouse with utmost flexibility.  Have the responsibility to report problem(s) with regards to the FSMS to identified person(s).Good RecordingKeeping § 100% accurate documentation. documents should be filed with their chronological order. Ensure daily stock movement properly recorded in the excel data base and on ERP business central including manual stock card.  Perform shift (daily) reconciliation of system and actual stock balance.  Accurate and on time reporting of daily, weekly and monthly reports.Effective utilization of resourceEnsure loading of sales and transfer trucks by the standard seated loading time.  Ensure storage space is properly utilized.  Rigorously implement FIFO.  Liaise with fleet (Distribution) team and schedule regular maintenance of forklift and reach truck without affecting the operation.  Keep operational da...
