About Cheshire Ethiopia

Cheshire Ethiopia (CE) is Ethiopia's pioneer disability and development NGO, established in 1962. Registered under CSO Proclamation No. 1113/2019, CE delivers rights-based, inclusive rehabilitation services to persons with disabilities — particularly children aged 5–18 — through center-based, mobile outreach, and community-based modalities across 38+ locations in 9 regions.

CE's vision is to become the "African hub of excellence in comprehensive rights-based disability rehabilitation." Key partners include CBM International, Liliane Fonds, LFTW, and Ethiopiaid.

Purpose of This Consultancy

CE's 2021–2025 Strategic Plan is concluding. A comprehensive, integrated institutional review and development exercise is required to support the organization's next phase of growth and impact.

Key Deliverables

• Evaluate the performance of the outgoing Strategic Plan
• Develop a robust new 5-year Strategic Plan (2026–2030)
• Redesign the organizational structure, salary scale, and job descriptions to align with the new strategy

Assignment Details

• Duration: 3 Months
• Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with field travel to Menagesha, Hawassa, Dire Dawa, and Harar branches
