About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this Warehouse Manager position based in Addis Ababa.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee warehousing operations including acceptance, registration, storage, issuance, and exit of supplies, materials, and equipment while ensuring inventory accounts and records are consistent
• Inspect incoming materials for accuracy of name, specifications, quantity, and quality; promptly report any discrepancies for processing
• Manage entry and exit procedures in accordance with regulations, including document review, registration, and archiving
• Classify and store warehouse materials with clear labeling, neat organization, and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse
• Conduct regular inventory checks to monitor stock levels, material usage, and shortages, ensuring accounts align with actual inventory
• Maintain and organize inventory ledgers, reports, and related documentation to ensure data accuracy and completeness
• Implement specialized management for flammable, moisture-prone, fragile, and valuable materials, including fire prevention, theft prevention, moisture prevention, and loss prevention measures
• Oversee warehouse safety management, including inspection of fire-fighting equipment, electrical facilities, and warehouse environment; promptly address or report any hazards
• Distribute materials accurately and timely based on construction or production requirements to support on-site needs
• Register and report returned, scrapped, and overstocked materials; coordinate with relevant departments on material disposal
• Communicate and coordinate with procurement, construction, finance, and other relevant departments to ensure timely material delivery and receipt with standardized procedures
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by leadership
