This role requires expertise in managing foreign currency transactions, trade finance, and international payment systems.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead formulation and execution of budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Oversee internal controls, accounting systems, and compliance with Ethiopian taxation laws and IFRS standards.Manage foreign exchange transactions, trade finance instruments (LCs, guarantees), and international banking relationships.Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings.Monitor liquidity, cash flow, treasury functions, and optimize working capital.Supervise payroll, general ledger accuracy, and financial documentation.Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and risk frameworks.Mentor and build capacity within the finance team.
