Risk Officer - (Account officer)

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position.

Check all Dangot Cement Ethiopia online accounts on a daily basis to determine customers’ credit status.Ensure approved credit limits are set up on the customer accounts on the system in line with approved policies and procedures.Run independent checks to ensure customers’ balances are sufficient for specified sales requests.Liaise with relevant banks to verify status of payments not yet reflected on the system.Escalate issues of non-payment to the Head, Financial Control & Reporting and seek approval for necessary actions.Confirm payments on the relevant ERP system and authorise the issuing of Authority to Collect (ATC) documents for the customer.Process authorised write offs and credit notes.Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on debtors.Develop periodic reports of accounts receivable activities.Adheres to and be guided by the collective labor agreement, internal regulations, and other company policies.Ensure proper Implementation of company HSE policies and procedures at workplace. Carry out other related duties assigned to him from immediate & higher supervisors
