## Title: Personal Assistant to the Deputy General Manager

Position Overview

Habesha Steel Mills PLC is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and professional Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Deputy General Manager (DGM). The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for the DGM's office, managing schedules, coordinating communications, and ensuring the smooth daily operation of executive activities at our Dukem plant.

  • Location: Bishoftu-Dukem (In front of Eastern Industry Zone)
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Salary: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Support: Manage the DGM's calendar, schedule appointments, and organize high-level meetings and factory tours
  • Communication Management: Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence; draft professional memos, letters, and reports on behalf of the DGM
  • Documentation & Filing: Maintain an organized physical and digital filing system for confidential executive documents and factory records
  • Liaison: Act as a bridge between the DGM and department heads (Production, Maintenance, HR, and Sales) to ensure timely follow-up on action items
  • Travel Coordination: Arrange travel logistics, including transportation and accommodation, for the DGM and visiting stakeholders
  • Meeting Minutes: Attend executive meetings, record accurate minutes, and distribute summary reports to relevant departments
  • Visitor Management: Receive and assist high-profile guests, partners, and government officials visiting the factory
