About the Organization
The Ethiopian Diabetes Association (EDA), established on January 23, 1984 G.C (1976 E.C), is the first patient-based association in Ethiopia. Its purpose is to provide a forum for diabetes patients to discuss prevention, share information, and access treatment.
Position Summary
The Office Support staff will report to the General Manager and provide vital clerical and administrative assistance to ensure efficient office operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage communications by answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
- Coordinate diaries, book appointments, and arrange meetings or travel
- Type documents, draft letters, create presentations, and take meeting minutes
- Maintain filing systems (digital and physical), manage databases, and order office supplies
- Greet visitors and serve as the first point of contact for the office
