Position Overview

Droga Pharma PLC is a leading importer, distributor, and commission agent for pharmaceuticals and healthcare products in Ethiopia. Droga Physiotherapy Specialty Clinic is the largest physiotherapy clinic in Ethiopia, staffed with experienced and expert physiotherapists. We focus on the latest techniques and technologies to enhance our patients' health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Take instruction from the Physical Therapist and head nurse
• Record and monitor vital signs and conduct basic nursing assessments
• Provide quality and compassionate nursing care in a professional manner
• Ensure that the therapy area is clean and tidy at all times to prevent infection
• Administer treatments to patients, such as electrotherapy
• Set up and arrange equipment for physical exercises and treatment, and pack them up afterwards
• Interact closely with patients to obtain their medical history
• Sanitize and sterilize all reusable medical equipment and facilities
• Keep records of patients' daily progress and response to treatment
• Bring patients to therapy areas and escort them afterwards
• Encourage patients to exercise at home as instructed by the Physical Therapist
• Observe patients closely to identify and prevent other health issues that may arise from their condition
• Make suggestions to the Physical Therapist regarding patients' treatment based on observations
