## Title: Medical Representative – Addis-Ababa

About the Role

Droga Pharma PLC seeks a dedicated Medical Representative to promote company products across the Addis-Ababa region. This position involves professional demonstrations, sample distribution, and feedback collection from healthcare professionals to establish a strong brand presence in the market.

Main Responsibilities

  • Promote company products to potential and existing customers, guiding them toward purchases
  • Identify customer needs and recommend products that best fulfill those requirements
  • Deliver impactful presentations to create awareness and understanding of products
  • Maintain solid working relationships with new and existing customers through effective communication
  • Plan and execute promotional activities within the assigned area (CME, grand rounds, etc.)
  • Assess and monitor competitors' products, identifying quality gaps and developing winning strategies
  • Resolve customer complaints and queries promptly
  • Submit purchase orders to sales and tender personnel in a timely manner
  • Adjust promotional tactics based on field testing and new market insights
  • Network with relevant stakeholders to identify new business opportunities
  • Provide market information and competitor activity updates to Area Sales Manager/Regional Sales Manager/Product Manager
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on company products
  • Create and maintain detailed master call lists (MCL) and customer contact records
  • Track all promotional activities in the company CRM system with current account information
  • Plan work schedules and coordinate weekly and monthly timetables with the area sales team
  • Develop and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with healthcare professionals
  • Stay informed about local health services activities in the assigned area
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic promotion planning
