Labratory Technician - Moha Soft Drinks Industry Plc, Addis-Abeba

Job Purpose

The Clinical Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing accurate and timely laboratory tests on patient samples to support medical diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care. This role ensures that all laboratory procedures are conducted following standard operating procedures, quality control protocols, and safety regulations, providing reliable results for physicians and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and process patient samples (blood, urine, stool, etc.) following standard operating procedures
• Perform clinical laboratory tests, including hematology, clinical chemistry, parasitology, serology, urinalysis, and stool examination
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment
• Conduct daily quality control checks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Record and report laboratory results accurately and maintain patient confidentiality
• Follow biosafety and infection prevention protocols
