About the Role

Laboratory technicians support scientific investigations by collecting, analyzing, and processing samples (blood, tissue, chemical, environmental) while maintaining equipment and rigorous safety standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Sample Handling and Testing: Receive, label, analyze, and store samples (biological, chemical, or environmental) according to standard procedures
• Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate, clean, sanitize, and perform routine maintenance or troubleshooting on laboratory instruments such as centrifuges, pipettes, and microscopes
• Data Recording and Reporting: Accurately document findings in laboratory notebooks or information systems, analyze data, and prepare detailed reports for scientists or managers
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to strict health and safety protocols, manage hazardous materials, and ensure proper disposal of waste
• Laboratory Logistics: Maintain inventory, order supplies, and organize laboratory workspaces to ensure efficiency
• Experimental Support: Assist in setting up experiments, preparing solutions, cultures, and specimens for analysis
