Job Summary
The Key Account Sales Officer is responsible for managing and growing strategic customer accounts for the company's plate products. This role focuses on building long-term partnerships, driving revenue growth, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction while aligning with company sales and production goals.
Work Distribution: 70% field-based activities and 30% office-based activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with key accounts and large-volume customers
- Drive sales growth through account expansion, upselling, and new product introductions
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to meet profitability targets
- Forecast sales volumes and coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity within the plate market
- Ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve customer issues or complaints efficiently
- Prepare sales reports, account performance reviews, and revenue forecasts
- Collaborate with marketing on promotions, launches, and customer-specific initiatives
- Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events
- Work collaboratively with sales and marketing staff
- Prepare and submit regular reports
