About the Role
Yetem Trading PLC is expanding and seeking a qualified IT Officer to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional to contribute to our organization's technical infrastructure and support.
Employment Details
- Position: IT Officer
- Employment Type: Part Time (physically present 3 days per week, remote work available)
- Location: Addis Ababa, Piasa Head Office
- Number of Positions: 1
- Salary & Benefits: Negotiable
- Required Experience: 2-3 years (for BSC degree holders)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all IT systems, networks, and infrastructure within the organization
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to all departments
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, software, and network equipment
- Ensure data security, system backups, and disaster recovery readiness
- Monitor network performance and implement system improvements
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related requirements
- Assist in planning and executing IT projects aligned with company goals
- Manage and support the ERP system
- Manage company website
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2-3 years of IT support and infrastructure experience
- Strong technical knowledge of systems, networks, and hardware
- Experience with ERP system management and support
- Knowledge of data security and disaster recovery protocols
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with multiple departments
