Position Overview

The Construction Supervisor oversees daily construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining quality standards. The role ensures all work complies with MSF standards, protocols, and procedures. The supervisor serves as the main link between contractors, subcontractors, and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the daily implementation of building and rehabilitation activities, ensuring compliance with MSF standards, protocols, and procedures
• Analyze construction and rehabilitation needs according to customer requirements and MSF programs, and report findings to the line manager with resource planning recommendations (financial, technical, material, and human)
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor ongoing construction and rehabilitation work, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budget constraints, and technical specifications
• Identify and address potential project deviations early to prevent delays and cost overruns
• Negotiate agreements and secure necessary permissions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders for construction and rehabilitation projects
• Establish and maintain regular contact with local authorities to ensure all required documentation is completed and avoid project delays
• Organize and oversee tender call activities (architect offices, company tendering) to secure the best technical and financial conditions
• Plan and supervise HR processes for Maintenance Agents, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
• Supervise and lead the logistics team under direct responsibility, including task assignment, daily supervision, and quality control of work
