About the Role
The Communication Officer is responsible for planning, capturing, editing, and producing high-quality photo, video, and audiovisual content that supports the organization's communication objectives and enhances its corporate image. This position integrates camera operation and editing functions to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective multimedia production across all organizational channels.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute multimedia production activities in alignment with organizational communication strategy and branding guidelines
- Capture high-quality photographs and video footage for events, official ceremonies, conferences, press briefings, interviews, documentaries, training programs, and promotional campaigns
- Conduct location assessments and prepare production setups, including camera positioning, lighting arrangements, sound configuration, and background composition
- Ensure professional standards of framing, exposure, color balance, sound clarity, and visual composition during all recording sessions
- Operate professional cameras, drones (where authorized), audio recording devices, lighting systems, and related multimedia equipment safely and effectively
- Edit raw video, audio, and image materials into high-quality finished products suitable for broadcast, social media, websites, digital platforms, and internal communication channels
- Perform post-production tasks including cutting, sequencing, color correction, color grading, audio balancing, noise reduction, subtitling, and captioning
- Design and integrate graphics, animations, lower-thirds, logos, transitions, subtitles, and sound effects in accordance with branding and editorial standards
- Collaborate with the Communication Division, Marketing, and relevant departments to understand content needs, messaging priorities, and target audiences
- Participate in content planning and strategy development activities
Required Profile
- Professional experience in multimedia production, videography, and photography
- Proficiency in video and photo editing software
- Technical expertise in operating professional cameras, lighting systems, and audio equipment
- Strong understanding of branding guidelines and corporate communication standards
- Ability to work effectively within organizational hierarchies and with multiple departments
