We leverage innovative marketing strategies, community engagement, and partnerships to improve health outcomes and empower individuals to make informed reproductive health choices.Job SummaryThe Communication Officer will be responsible for managing DKT Ethiopia’s corporate communication and visibility among key stakeholders, documenting and showcasing organizational successes, and producing regular internal and external communication materials, including newsletters, reports, and digital content. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong writing, storytelling, and content production skills, capable of elevating DKT Ethiopia’s profile in the SRH and public health sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate Communication & Stakeholder VisibilityDevelop and implement communication strategies to enhance DKT Ethiopia’s visibilityamong donors, partners, and stakeholders.Prepare press releases, talking points, briefings, and corporate messages for internal andexternal audiences.Support media engagement, including interviews, press conferences, and events.Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and ensure consistent branding andmessaging across all touchpoints.Content Creation & Storytelling Capture, document, and produce success stories, case studies, and program highlights showcasing the impact of DKT Ethiopia’s workDevelop and manage regular newsletters, updates, and reports for internal teams and external partners.Create engaging content for digital channels, including social media, website, and email campaigns.Ensure all content is high-quality, accurate, and aligned with DKT Ethiopia’s mission and brand.Digital & Social Media SupportAssist in managing DKT Ethiopia’s social media platforms, ensuring content is timely, relevant, and engaging.Monitor online presence and track engagement metrics, suggesting improvements.Support the production of visual and multimedia content, including photos, videos, and infographics.Event Communication & Reporting Support internal and external events, workshops, and campaigns by developingcommunication materials and promotional content.Prepare post-event reports and impact summaries to showcase outcomes and learnings.Collaboration & Capacity Building Work closely with marketing, program, and operations teams to ensure alignedmessaging and communications support for initiatives.Provide guidance and support to staff on communication best practices, storytelling, andcontent production.
