Position Overview

Liyana Health Care PLC is recruiting qualified Biomedical Engineers for assignment at Yanet Trauma and Surgical Specialized Center and Yanet Primary Hospital in Hawassa city.

As a Biomedical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing biomedical equipment and medical devices to improve the quality of life for patients. You will develop advanced healthcare technology while advising healthcare professionals on effective technology use.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and create biomedical technology including machines, equipment, and software for diagnosing and treating medical problems
• Install and calibrate biomedical equipment
• Ensure the safety and functionality of creations before manufacturing begins
• Help healthcare professionals learn to use equipment and technology in daily practice
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing biomedical systems
