About the Organization

Media Smart Youth Ethiopia (MeSY-E) is a local Civil Society Organization (CSO) legally registered and operated under the Federal Authority of Civil Society Organizations in Ethiopia (registry number 6664) in accordance with the Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No. 1113/2019.

Our mission is to advance young people's active citizenship and democratic participation in Ethiopia through the promotion of media literacy. We empower young people with skills to access, critically analyze, and evaluate media, enabling them to be more responsible in creating and sharing media messages.

About the Position

MeSY-E seeks qualified audit firms to submit proposals for the provision of external audit services for the period January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct audits in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and applicable Ethiopian laws and regulations
• Provide independent audit opinions
• Review internal control systems
• Assess compliance with statutory and donor requirements
