About the Role

DANGOTE CEMENT COTE D'IVOIRE S.A is recruiting an Electrical Engineer to support its operations in Abidjan. In this role, you will provide essential maintenance support to ensure optimal equipment availability and minimize operational downtime.

Job Summary

• Provide adequate maintenance support to operational sections to reduce downtime
• Reduce equipment downtime through effective preventive maintenance strategies
• Ensure steady and optimal availability of equipment to meet production targets

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive assigned maintenance schedules and request necessary spares from stores to effect repairs
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and unplanned maintenance as needed, reporting machine availability outcomes to the Section Head and updating maintenance history
• Document maintenance history of all plants and equipment, reporting materials consumption, tool usage, man hours, and skills utilized to the Senior Engineer and Section Head
• Prepare maintenance activity reports for the Senior Engineer or Section Head
• Perform trend analysis of shift reports and determine post-maintenance equipment performance
• Track and compare the performance of repaired machines against planned targets
• Conduct on-the-job training for Technicians

Requirements

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
