Position Overview
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to serve as Human Resource Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, leading, contributing to, implementing, and advising on various initiatives that align with the organization's culture and values.
You will serve as the subject matter expert for managing key functional areas in human resources, including recruitment, compensation and benefits management, learning and development, performance management, and employee engagement. You will provide guidance and counselling to staff while ensuring the growth, development, and well-being of team members.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitments
- Provide guidance to line managers and supervisors on crafting job descriptions for employees and scope of work for consultants
- Collaborate with line managers and supervisors on the recruitment of vacancies and new roles that will arise within the organization
- Support recruitment of consultants for programmes managed by the organization
- Manage new joiners orientation and on-boarding process through to confirmation
- Manage the off-boarding process in case of employee separation while ensuring positive experiences for the employee
- Apply understanding and knowledge of local and applicable international labour laws and regulations to ensure compliance with legal requirements
Performance Management
- Support management in the administration of bi-annual staff performance review process
- Monitor the performance management process to ensure an effective process that promotes staff growth and development
- Collaborate with line managers and supervisors to implement performance management plans set by the organization
- Develop a succession planning system for the organization
Learning and Development
- Lead in the development of learning and development programmes
