Role Summary

We are seeking a ScanForm Support Technician for HIV Programs based in Cameroon to support our growing operations. In this role, you will provide essential technical assistance to implementing partners and government agencies, ensuring data quality and system effectiveness across our HIV surveillance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support to implementing partners and government agencies regarding data quality monitoring and evaluation
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues or delegate them to appropriate teams
• Deliver remote technical support driven by data insights through reactive and proactive phone communication
• Ensure correct workflow usage and data accuracy among end users
• Conduct in-person mentorship, training, and supportive supervision during site visits in collaboration with project partners
• Draft summaries and detailed field reports documenting support activities and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Residency in Cameroon
• Extensive experience within the health system, specifically with community-based or facility-based programs
• Solid understanding of routine health data collection and health information systems (HIS)
• Proven track record in providing technical assistance or on-the-job mentorship to data staff and health workers
• Expert knowledge of the HIV testing algorithm and official HIV guidelines
• High level of emotional intelligence, patience, and interpersonal communication skills
• Sharp logical reasoning and meticulous attention to detail
• Competency in drafting summaries and detailed field reports
• Strong translation and communication abilities between clients and partners
