About the Role

SAASA B2E is seeking a professional, customer-oriented Restaurant Server for a client in the lounge/restaurant sector. In this role, you will manage orders, deliver food and drinks, provide top-tier guest service, and maintain a clean and inviting venue. You will collaborate with teams to support seamless daily operations.

Main Responsibilities

Preparation

• Prepare the lounge/restaurant for service by cleaning floors and bathrooms
• Set tables and polish glassware
• Stock napkins, cutlery, and condiments
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff

Service

• Greet and seat guests professionally
• Present menus with recommendations
• Take and serve orders accurately and promptly
• Meet special requests and handle billing/payments efficiently

Maintenance

• Uphold service area hygiene standards
• Clear and reset tables quickly
• Follow equipment and space cleaning protocols

Guest Satisfaction

• Resolve complaints or escalate to management as needed
• Engage with clients to boost loyalty

Teamwork

• Collaborate with colleagues for fluid service
• Assist during peak hours
• Foster a positive working atmosphere

Requirements

Experience

• Prior restaurant or service industry experience preferred (3-5 years)

Education

• Hospitality management background or training is a plus

Required Skills

• Excellent communication in French (mandatory); English preferred
• Ability to multitask under pressure in fast-paced settings
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Neat, presentable appearance at all times
• Punctual and reliable attendance
• Friendly and courteous demeanor with focus on customer satisfaction

Additional Information

• Flexibility required for shift work, including nights (typical 4pm-12:30am) and late hours as needed
