Project Context
KOICA Phase II, funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and executed with UNICEF and stakeholders, strengthens governance systems and essential service access for vulnerable groups. The project targets education, child protection, WASH, and social services in the East Region's Lom & Djerem and Kadey Divisions.
Position Overview
Project: KOICA Phase 2 - Enhancing children's education access through bolstered education, water/sanitation, and child protection services in Cameroon's East Region
Duty Station: Batouri, East Region, Cameroon
Coverage Area: Batouri and Ngoura Subdivisions (Kadey Division)
Reporting to: Assistant Program Manager
Contract Type: Fixed-term (1 year, renewable based on performance and funding)
Role Purpose
The Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant fosters a data-centric project culture, tracking Child Protection, Education, and WASH indicators for UNICEF and community accountability. Real-time field data and evidence ensure impact delivery and swift resolution of challenges.
Main Responsibilities
Data Collection and Monitoring
- Facilitate quantitative and qualitative data gathering from activities
- Perform routine field visits for implementation monitoring
