We are seeking a seasoned, polished, and high-energy Senior Retail Assistant to join our boutique at the iconic Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock, Cape Town. This role is designed for a retail professional who understands the art of the sale and the mechanics of running a tight ship.

With only 55m² of boutique space, every interaction counts. You must be presentable, articulate, and have a genuine passion for fashion and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-end shopping experience through proactive selling and styling advice
• Oversee stock levels, receive new arrivals, and ensure inventory accuracy
• Maintain a visually stunning store layout that drives foot traffic and sales
• Execute precise daily cash-ups and manage store opening/closing procedures
• Utilize MS Office (Outlook and Excel) for reporting and communication

Requirements

• 7–10 years of proven retail experience (references are essential)
• Must reside in Woodstock or immediate surrounding Cape Town areas
• Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills and professional appearance
• Deep understanding of retail dynamics with a strong sales mindset
