Logistics and Warehouse Manager

About the Role

This role provides hands-on exposure to the full logistics and warehouse operations of a fast-growing e-commerce startup, making it ideal for someone seeking a long-term career in e-commerce logistics and warehouse management. You will oversee all inbound and outbound warehouse goods, coordinate with logistics providers, customers, and third-party selling platforms, and report directly to the Financial Manager.

Location and Remuneration

Montague Gardens, Cape Town

R28,000 – R30,000 per month

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or similar field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in inbound and outbound logistics and warehouse management
• Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confident with online platforms, spreadsheets, and digital tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable transport

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory and warehouse management
• Container unloading, inbound quality control, and first-article review
• Stock control across sales platforms
• Customer operations and wholesale coordination
• Invoicing and sales process support
• Facebook Marketplace and on-site sales room management
• Returns, repairs, and salvage handling
• Logistics, 3PL, and contingency planning
• Staff leadership, training, and HR coordination
• Quality control and accuracy systems implementation
• Pallets, space, and equipment readiness
• Full stock counts and reporting
• Warehouse opening, closing, and security responsibilities
• Real-time stock updates
• Equipment accounting and weekly reconciliation
