Key Responsibilities

• Execute complex, precision cuts on high-grade leathers and various fabrics (woven, synthetic, and technical textiles)
• Demonstrate expert-level knowledge in hide grading, navigating scars and stretch marks to ensure maximum yield with minimal waste
• Interpret intricate technical drawings and patterns, ensuring every piece meets exact specifications
• Perform rigorous quality checks on raw materials before and after cutting
• Work closely with design and sewing teams to ensure seamless transitions from raw material to finished product

Required Experience & Expertise

• Minimum 5–10 years of professional experience in a factory or high-end workshop environment
• Dual mastery of both leather and fabric cutting (this is a senior-level requirement)
• Deep understanding of leather grains, temper, and thicknesses
• Thorough knowledge of fabric grain lines and nap directions
• Expert handling of manual cutting tools (knives, shears, rotary cutters)
• Expert familiarity with industrial cutting machinery
