Restaurant Manager Required

About the Role

A busy, high-volume daytime café is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. The Manager will be responsible for supervision, performance management, and effective delegation to various managers and staff to ensure an efficient and smooth-running restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store operational requirements are met
• Ensure smooth running of front of house and back of house operations
• Supervise and manage staff performance
• Ensure store hygiene, maintenance, health and safety requirements are met
• Monitor beverage costs, food costs, and stock control within specified ranges
• Be on duty for busy shifts and weekends
• Ensure effective communication between staff and management
• Issue reports in a timely manner

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar restaurant management role
• Experience in high-volume environments preferred

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong leadership ability
• Ability to delegate and manage effectively
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and process-driven approach
• Ability to interpret statistical information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management, customers, and third-party service providers
