Position Overview

TIMB is re-advertising for the position of Farm Manager on a one-year fixed-term contract basis. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill this role. The successful candidate will be stationed at Stow Muhacha Farm in Mashonaland West Province.

Reporting Line

This position reports to the Tobacco Programs Officer.

Contract Duration

Fixed-term contract for one year.

Location

Stow Muhacha Farm, Mashonaland West Province, Zimbabwe.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all farm operations and management activities
• Ensure efficient tobacco production and program implementation
• Supervise farm staff and coordinate daily tasks
• Maintain farm infrastructure and equipment
• Comply with all relevant agricultural and safety regulations

Qualifications and Experience

• Applicants must possess relevant qualifications in agriculture or related field
• Proven experience in farm management, preferably in tobacco farming
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Knowledge of tobacco production processes is an advantage
